Prisoners For the Military? what do you think?

Ok i had this Thought.. what if they took out most prisoners fro miner crimes like Grand theft auto, maybe Burglery, and other crimes not murder. And maybe give them a 2nd chance? send them to war and maybe clean up there file? I have done somethings wrong and i have been given 2nd chances some people just make mustakes and haft to pay there whole life in jail. what do you think?
