I suffer from Insomnia, bout all I really know about it is its a desease that you can't sleep. With me I am scared to sleep sometimes because of the things I see in my dreams...there for I stay awake there has been times I haven't slept in three days...despite me being tired I will still be too scared to go to sleep

I do know about insomnia but nothing about any sites you could find out from. I suffer from insomnia, hence the reason I am often online till the early hours of the morning. I deal with it by having a hot milk drink before going to bed as well as reading before turning out the light. If after some time I am still awake, I get up and find something to do till I am tired enough to know that I will fall asleep. :)

I do know that insomnia is a medical disorder. Some medical resources point out that if you spend time on the computer before bed, your brain is stimulated and that is why some people cannot sleep. It is not insomnia, but just a general incapability of getting to sleep because the brain is too wired. I just mean that, if you are online all hours of the night, of course you won't be getting to sleep :) Thank you for the response!

I usually go to bed at the same time every night and read for a while, then if I cannot sleep that is when I get on the computer. :)

Do you ever take sleep pills to aid you with your sleep.

No. I don't like pills and medicing. And I don't like to sleep. So why would I try to? It really doesn't affect me all that much, so I don't care that I don't sleep much.

I suffer from insomnia. I tink maybe because of personal experience insomnia might be caused by habit. Some people and i;m speakin from experience are insomniacs because they are always chasing something passionately which always seems to evade them or which gives them thrills or excitement. Some people just cannot adjust to sleeping befor a certain time( habit) eg. I cant go to sleep before 12 am and if I try I am miserable and will toss and turn so I don't. Because I cant seem to go to sleep b4 12 I usually push until it goes past 1 am. My boss has the same problem. Does that make any sense?.. I'm just prattling.. LOL. Good luck.
