Can anybody help me with Microsoft Excel????

I particularly know to make sheets & enter other information in the excel file, but can anybody help me out with entring a sum (addition of cells with result in single cell) function in the excel file... Please help me if u know about it ... thanks in advance

FINALLY! schooling has come in useful! we are learning about it at school in computer scheice ;P. i hope this answers your question: to add a number of cells up in excel, you have to enter this formula: =SUM(#:#) eg. =SUM(C4:C8) this would add whatever numbers that are in C4, C5, C6, C7, C8 together or =C4+C5 would add C4 and C5

sum can take more than 1 parameter ... =sum(c4:c5,c7:c8) would produce the same result as =sum(c4:c5) + sum(c7+c8).
