Aggravated with Firefox

Yesterday I downloaded Firefox and I heard its a very good web browser, the thing I heard about and liked was the video downloader, well I downloaded firefox and the downloader but it doesnt seem to work, is anyone else having this problem or is there a specific way of using it?
