Loyal to your friend or to your job?

I pray that i get a answer to this delima am in,which one should take priority is the biggest question for me n i hope most of us do have it sometime or the other.And when that friend is your Girlfriend then its a real delima.....what do choose within the two being loyal to you good salaried job or to your girlfriend,,.....which way to go?
