Single parent: Good or bad?

I think as far as the child is well-nurtured, it's fine. But more or less, it makes some differennce. Your opinion?

As far as the parent is considered, there is no point in asking this question becuase the single parent decided to be single. If you look from the child's point of view, it is not as good as two parents. This is mainly becuase, the set social norm is two parents. In such a sset up, the child will naturally traumatised to have a single parent if he makes a fair comparison. For you and me it doesnt matter whether the parent is single or double

There's nothing wrong with being single parent. I salute to them because they can stand on their own without any partner in all aspect of life. There is a difference between single parent or having a partner in caring your child. It is a very big responsibility being single parent, you have to work to support for your child. While if you have a partner you both work hand in hand in caring your babies.

i think we cannot blame them as a single parent. the important thing is that the child is well nurtured.
