do you like accountancyand maths

I used to hate maths at school, although I was in the top class for it, I never felt confident in it as a subject and I felt slower than a lot of the other people in the class. I think that the teacher I had didn't help, it always felt like he enjoyed embarrassing people when they couldn't understand something rather than helping them out. I moved more into social sciences like Geography, oddly however, I find myself working in accounts and finance right now. It's strange that I used to hate maths so much, but once you follow the processes and techniques it makes more sense and I find variance analysis quite straight-forward. I don't know if it's the thing I wil stay with for the rest of my career but I just think it's funny what I ended up doing when I disliked the subject so much in school!
