frnds i dont drink, but yesterday i was out for a dine. A few frnds just planned to have a couple of shotts then and asked me to join, but as i have set some high and strict principles for me i refused to drink but agreed on giving them my company and said i will have a softdrink. The table was set and my friends started with wine and as i expected, they continued for more than 3 hours and my flatemate who was also one of the drinkers, drank so much and was not in his senses. It was really hard fo rme to bring him back home, but somehow i managed and then pushed him on his bed and i came to my room. Since morning that guy is saying that he is having a hangover and i ahve given him 2 glass of lime juice, but still he is not able to be active. Now wat shall i do , wat is the proper and quick treatment for it ????

I have been drunk before, but never had a hangover. Strange, but I have never done anything special like drinking water or staying in bed, just after a couple of hours of sleep I'm ready to function again. (Maybe a little tired, but that is all.)

I find the best cure for a hangover is to stay in bed and sleep it off. Hangovers are mostly due to dehydration so get your flatmate to drink lots of water to feel better. Also things like coke or lemonade are good for hangovers. Avoid citrus type drinks as this often makes the person want to vomit which invariably makes you feel even worse. A tip for you for the future if you are trying to get your friends to avoid having a hangover the next day is to try to get them to drink several glasses of water before they actually go to sleep after drinking. This will usually curb the dehydration and even though they might be visiting the toilet all night they will be grateful for not having a hangover the next day.
