how will you say "thank you" and "welcome" in your language?

these words put a great smile on my face everytime i hear it...so,how will you say "thank you" and "welcome" in your language? here in the philippines, thank you is "salamat" while welcome is "mabuhay"

im also from the Philippines and you already said it but i want to share how we say it in the south. thank you is "salamat' or "daghang salamat" (thank you very much)... welcome is "way sapayan".

i m from india and i speak hindi. in hindi thank u is "shukriya" or "dhanyawad" and welcome is "swaagatam":) but in day to day life we use english "thank u" or "thanx".(too bad i think) "swaagatam" on mylot!!!^^

i am from Pakistan and in urdu, we say "KHUSHAMDEID" for welcome and "SHUKREEYA" for thank you :) its nice discussion good going :)

as being an indian so many ways to express it.in hindi "dhanyawad","sugriya".....thankyou,thanks,its my pleasure, and for welcome "swagatam" most popular....
