are you an avid fan of reality shos or do you think it sucks?

i love big brother too. it has just finished in my country about 5 weeks ago. i watched practically the whole 6 weeks of it :-)

I used to love reality shows beacause there were just a few to pick but now everybody joined the bandwagon. The show that I most hate is the MTV Fraternity Life. I still like Combat Missions, Amazing Race though.

They hold no appeal for me. I could care less about what other people are doing. My life is full enough without their 'entertainment'. They are never on in this house. Like sports. Any show like that is exhibitionism. Not for us. Just stupid stuff really.

I think there are too many reality shows on television now. It was a novelty for a while but now there are too many and most of them are just cheap ways to fill the screen.

I can say I really love pinoy big brother and as the moment I answering this I ran to the living room when the commercial ended to watch the first day of the housemates. what really appeals to me is that how different individual mingle in one house on 100 days without contact from outside world and how an individual have some traits pinoy have in general. For me pinoy big brother rocks!!!

I used to watch Survivor, and it was interesting at first. Then it got boring, then Lost came out of the woodwork lol and we started watching that. Never watched American Idol, but what they have said in the news about it sounds like a show for where to put people down then to help them with their talents or no talent and how to improve them or to tell them gently sorry you just don't have it, instead of being rude about it. Then there was Big Brother, that was interesting too, but it became a soap opera and we gave up on that one too. There is one reality show my son watched I cannot remember the name of it but would like to see it where people are in total isolation, for a long period of time and they play head games with you while you are there, I think my husband can do that lol he likes total isolation lol with our clan you need it! It would be a vacation for him! lol Anyway I don't really watch them and really don't think anything of them, i think the people that watch them that is good for them, the challenges they present are good too, that they present on the shows. They are fair challenges and at least something for them to do while they are out there then always at each other lol :) Thanks for posting and letting us all answer.
