Does anyone have Night Sweats since starting EffexorXR?

I had never had them until I started Effexor. For those that don't know, night sweats are just what they imply, sweats at night.
Now that I have upped my dosage, they are a lot worse. I also started Remeron too, so it could be that. They are horrible. I am changing the sheets almost daily.
I am starting to wonder if I am going through perimenapause or something:)

I responded to your other discussion. Remeron is most likely causing the severe night sweats; this is a known side effect of Remeron. It may be that your body is just getting used to the medication and the biochemical changes that are going on. Usually it is best to give it a few weeks to see if the sweats get better as you get used to it. If not, talk to your doctor about the possibility of changing medications. Don't stop any medications or adjust the dosages without talking to your doctor first.
