is yahoo shuts down immediately???????

in case yahoo shuts down immediately how will u be affected?? will u suffer a HUGE loss as u have lot of contacts etcc or what??

Good question. If yahoo shutsdown immediately, sure i'll be affected as its my primary mail browser and I use many of its other features. Not in the way of losing contacts as I export the contact list in yahoo now and then. I advice everyone to do so. It can be useful when you are creating a new account else where. You just have to import this file and all your contacts will be added in your new account.

Yeah i always do that backing up in csv format now and then coz it will be easy to restore..but imagine as our ddaily activities r linked with yahoo like.. mail, messenger groups...photos etc...and much more...imagine the impact it will have on u...wat will u do at that time????

I have used yahoo for years I dont think you need to wory on this score but just to ease your mind why not back up all your info to a disk?

Yes i have the habit of taking back up of all contacts etc at a regular pace of time...but still u see many r having yahoo id's and how will u get in touch with them...i asked in this sense??
