Last time at noon, on Animal Planet, the happiest three hours of the year starts. PUPPY BOWL, where puppies "tackle, fumble and foul". Oh yes, I will be happy. A producer friend of mine (the guy who shepherded WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? to the States) once told me, "If I could, I'd have a channel on cable where it was just twenty four hours of puppies tumbling around and playing". Amen to that. PUPPY BOWL!

when i read the description, i laughed out loud at the ridiculousness of having a three hour program like this. then when it came on, i found myself glued to the TV. camera in the waterbowl? LOVED IT! penalties for piddling? HILARIOUS! kitty half-time show? I ATE IT UP! i'll bet that was the cheapest programming they've ever had.
