I got to thinking of the strange things my parents used to tell me when I was little. Are there things your parents told you that you always remember but don't necessarily follow? Ones my parents told me include: "If you swallow a watermelon seed, a watermelon will grow in your stomach: "If you sleep with wet hair, you'll wake up with headaches" "You'll go blind if you sit too close to the television" What did yours tell you?

That if you look into the mircowave while it's on you'll ruin your eyes. That's about it I think.

If you are pulling a funny face and the wind changes direction you face will stay like that forever. Feed a cold and starve a fever. If in life you want to thrive let the spider stay alive. I can't think of any more - except if you swollow chewing gum it will stick to your ribs.
