Several years ago, I read about how many moved from Sweden to the USA after 1850s - there are at least ten million there now who have Swedish ancestors. Many moved to Canada too. The same thing happened in Finland - so for me, as I was born in Finland and live in Sweden, it would be interesing to get contact with you.

Well I live in Canada but I am not Swedish , My family immigrated from Germany. I do believe my great grand parents were the ones that came here. My brother has done extensive research into our family history and about 6 months ago went to visit some distant realitives. He came back with so much interesting things for us to see on our history. Have you ever found your family coat of arms I have found mine and my husbands. It is very interesting stuff.

I think some distant relative to me has been doing some research, just have to find out who.. I have a friend who came to US with her parents and now lives in Georgia. She also comes from Germany. Who knows, she may be a distant relative of you. You find her in Directmatches under the username Goldie. You find her by going to my website and doing a search with her username. Do you see any likeness? : )
