i have been hit on plenty of times by married men. I think they like the rush of flirting with people after being married for a few years. The excitment has gone out of the marriage and they are trying to feel good about themselves. Some i think are only harmless flirting others i think are a bit more serious. I have had both and in all cases nothing has procceeded as I wouldnt want my husband acting like that and girls pleasing him

Yeah I have been hit on a married guy before. My brother and sister are part of the school's volleyball team. They were both in grade school so naturally, parents join every game and cheer on their kids. They even have a group of supportive parents thingie. So anyway, since our family grew up with supporting each other in their endeavors, I often watch the games and even drive for the team sometimes. So pretty much all the parents know me as "the sister"... My mom and dad obviously were friends with the other parents. One day while I was at work (on-the-job training) this dad calls me up through my cellphone. At first I entertained the call thinking he had a message for my dad. When I felt he was babbling, I asked him straight up if he needs me to relay a message to my dad, then he said no and simply said, "I called because I love you..." OMG!!!!?!?!? WHere did that come from? Sheesh... Get this, the man was the same age as my dad and he has two daughters the youngest being my sisters bestfriend! Crazy fool! So I immidiately told my dad about the call since I have his number on the received numbers list. My mom got furious. This guy even has the nerve to show up at the next game and face my parents as if nothing happened. Oh well, I still attended my siblings games but I was always with the kids and near my dad. My mom sure did give him a piece of her thought! LOL. She was really pissed, man! To all married men out there, PICK ON YOUR OWN SIZE. If you want to be treated with respect, do respect the "ladies" as well.

I don't know if I have as I've never asked or try to look for the ring on their finger. However, I believe that you're being hit on by married people because according to some psychologists, husbands want to flirt with women that resemble their wives without the flaws, i.e. Reese Witherspoon's Ryan Phillippe went after her look-alike Abby because of such a reason. Other reasons could be that they just need the emotional boost, you're pretty, they're trying to get back at their wives' misconduct, etc.
