President Bush's daughter Barbara was purse snatched!

She and her sister were in Buenos Aires celebrating their 25th birthday. They were apparently having dinner and being watched by Secret Service and the Argentinian Police when the theft happened. Can you imagine? This must have been a really talented purse snatcher to do his thing under the watchful eye of the Secret Service and the Argentinian Police!

The Secret Service and the Police maybe got drunk just by watching the two little drinkers go at it....

Just shows you no one is safe .. !
If I had anything to do with it I'd have the lot of the security staff sacked .. if someone can get close enough to steal a bag they could have easily killed the girls ..
It's a sad world where folks need security staff .. but they should at least be capable of doing a proper job ..

This purse snatcher should be part of the Secret Service himself, or maybe a trainer for a security company. I would like to see him on a talk show, telling us how to improve our personal security. Do you think any agents or police will lose their jobs over this?

Although this a serious offense it really sounds funny.. maybe the "secret service" were too discreet not to show up and the thief didn't notice them.. they may be very clever that the thief didn't spot them (I doubt he would try then) but then they turned to be so dumb that they couldn't stop the attempt or catch the thief :(

*speaks into tiny microphone inside jacket...note self, do not ask Secret Service for protection* That is pathetic. I really think heads will roll over this one. Thank goodness she wasn't hurt. Sometimes I think when we are watching so carefully for 'large crime' we tend to miss the little things!

These thieves had to be very good to get away with something like that with the Secret Service and the police there keeping an eye out on his daughter. They really knew what they were doing and must have had a plan or done something like this before. Thank goodness Barbara did not get hurt. I have a feeling too, like the other member mentioned, that someone is going to get fired.

WOW! They must have been masters at stealing things quickly. Can you imagine how proud of themselves they were? This will probably just make them more apt to steal again.
