I think you should approach him. I know you posted to others that suggested this that you are a girl and wouldn't it look bad. What do you care how it looks to others. You like the guy right? If you don't you will always wonder what could have been. Many men like for a woman to be the aggressor in some situations. Not to mention how do you expect him to notice you if you don't let him know you are interested. If you feel really comfortable, just try talking to him as much as possible and let your body language do the talking for you. Try to befriend him and see where things go. You may find that you don't like him after all, but that it is just a crush.

Approach him and see if a friendship is possible. If it is, take it from there, if not, move on.

You could wait a little.... you could try to see if he notices you before you.... maybe in some days he could tell you that he likes you, but if this doesn't happen you can show him that you like him, to me there is nothing bad, I think that he'll appreciate that.

Honestly I would tell him. I know its not the easiest thing in the world, and easier said then done but you'll feel much better once you know. Guessing games and waiting I think are harder in the long run then just asking.
