At first I asked to become (add) my friends some people that a friend of mine advised to me. Now I never ask somebody to become my friend, I prefer that a person asks me to become a friend of mine (approve) because of what I write. So I sometimes notice that on the top on the right, near the word "friends", there is a little number and so, very happy, I go and approve my new friend(s). Till now I refused nobody. Why to refuse someone?

I approve everyone who requested to be my friends. I think it's essential for me to create a large circle of friends since i like responding to discussions created by my friends. I know that many people do the same. So by having many friends, i have a wider selection of discussions for me to respond. At the end of the day, everyone's happy and earnings are increased, a win-win situation to all. Besides, i don't know many people personally on myLot. So that's why i approve everone who wants to be my friends.

Before sending a request for friends, I see how fruitful and meaningful discussions the fellow has started or replied (and of course they belong to one my interests). And one more thing....I find some of the members are really very spontaneous and superb they make it a point to read and COMMENT on every response, they receive. I feel the person who comments on every response is really a genuine and wonderful person and must be added in the list of friends.

Before approving I always check their profile first. I look to see if I am interested in their discussions and what they have written to other people's discussions. If I see they are the type to write one word answers everywhere and essentially 'spam' the forum, then i will not accept them as a friend. For adding, it's usually when I see someone who has written multiple discussions that interest me or has respond is some way to my discussion that caught my attention.
