Goldfish names...

I've had goldfish named: Dash, Gandalf, Iago, Jack Sparrow, donnie darko, and jar jar binks! They were all named after my favorit movie charectars. What have you named your fish and why?

Mine are named Sushi and Pamplemousse. Sushi because hey, he's raw fish! And Pamplemousse is my favorite French word- it is just fun to say!

The one goldfish that we've had over a year is named Swimmy. My younger daughter won him at a school carnival. He's a comet. The other 2 goldfish that we got after we got Swimmy, but didn't last long, were Big Gold and Goldy.

My goldfish always seems to end up with the name "fred" I don't know why, just what I name them. The kids, of course, come up with names from their favorite movies (Thomas (the tank engine), Larry the Cucumber (VeggieTales), and Harry (Potter).)

Not goldfish, but tropical fish. I named them after Pride & Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters. Not surprisingly, there were a few siamese fighters in the list... Bas (Rutten), Sakuraba, Vanderlei, Bob, etc. Unfortunately, I had to give them away when I moved recently. I am currently working on acquiring more fish! What to name them? I shall have to find another theme!
