i am always cooking. I use a lot of spices and seasonings sometimes i tweak a recipe as well, if it calls for wheat flour i may put in some extra flour. If it calls for a certain sauce, i may put in something else, it depends upon what you are reaching for something hot and spicy or something mild and sweet. Just depends. I think the thing is i have to have a day that I feel like cooking, especially when i want to get into the task of making breads. That is a chore when i do it by hand and from scratch and don't have the bread machine to do the short cuts. I find making from scratch though is a lot healthier and less expensive then making from a box. And i do scratch a lot. lol But the secrets to cooking is reading the recipe fully and seeing what you want to do with it, making it by the recipe once maybe see if it is to your satisfaction if not do it again and make it your way. Just like i tried this Hawain Bread Recipe, and I plan to tweak it with more pineapple juice and more sugar in it, just too bland for my taste. My father was a 5 star chef in an elite restaurant, so i can cook up a lot of different things and go on the internet for all sorts of things and different things.
