If you belong to a union i'd talk to my representative about it. they are often in a better situation to have a manager take aktion in a situation like this Does your office manager have a boss? If so I'd try to talk to my manager one more time. if nothing is done I'd inform the manager that I'd take it one step up the ladder. This sometimes help to get things done. Are there others feeling this is a problem? Maybe you can write the manager aboput it together. Is there a health, safty and environment rep at your work place? this is an excellent thing to discuss with them Have anyone ever talked to the harrasing co-worker? I know this may be very scary, but as a last resort if everything else fails this may give results. Maybe your coworker does not know how he is perceived? Hope you find a solution to the problem. Noone should feel thay are harassed or bullied at their work place. Good luck!

I have tried all of the above without resolution. I went to a higher up boss and got the same reponse,to just ignore her. She has done this to a number of co-workers throughout the years. I personally had to get caller ID, and no longer accept phone calls from her. She now has resorted to sending emails to myself as well as other co-workers. I have spoken with her directly and asked that she stop. I feel as though the office will do nothing to address this issue, as they don't want to deal her. I am not sure what my next move should be. How frustating to have work in such an environment.

Sounds like you've tried most everything. seeing how far it has gone, and all you have done without result, i would consult a lawyer or legal advisor to explore what can be done next. i find it amazing that your employer will not deal with this in a different way. This is clarly not an acceptable situation. Sorry i could not be of more help to you!

Here in the US...your office has to do something about it. If they aren't, they can be held just a liable. Now, I am not an attorney, nor pretend to be one...however, if you don't have legal advice, and are either in the US or Candada, seriously think about getting Pre-Paid Legal. I love my attorneys and used them 30+times last year a lone, just because I could. You don't have to have your rights stomped all over like that. If you want more info, I can point you in the right direction, since I am also a Pre-Paid Legal associate.

Make a compilation of the things she does to annoy you. Print out the emails with corresponding dates and give these details to your Human Resources Manager. If your office still fails to take action, consult a private lawyer for appropriate charges you may file againsts her.
