Miracles do happen..! My hubby received a healing..!

About 2 weeks ago, around the time I posted how sick my stepmother was (who's home and mending nicely), my hubby slipped on ice at work during our big snow storm. I didn't think to post about it then but now I have to... He hit the ground so hard; we came to the conclusion next day that he had fractured some ribs. He couldn't move well and everytime he would cough or sneeze, he went to his knees. I thought he was going to pass out several times from the pain. Going to doctor or hospital wasn't an option because of the fact that there's nothing that can be done unless a rib punctured the lung; they have to mend on their own and it takes a very long time, usually. Well, the other night he was at work, still in a great deal of pain when he moved wrong or had to cough/sneeze. He did sneeze and the pain doubled him over once again. He told me next day (he said he almost didn't tell me) that after he sneezed he heard someone say something to him. The voice had said, "Someone is praying for you." He knew he was alone but he looked around anyway to confirm it. He thought, "Someone is praying for me?" A moment later he had to sneeze again and guess what? There was no pain..! From a sneeze a few moments before that caused excruciating pain, to the next sneeze, with no pain whatsoever..! It was a miracle...God had healed him right there and then..! Our mothers are both prayers and he had told his the night before about his accident. We figure that she was praying for him at the same moment he received his healing. How wonderful is that? God is so good..!

That really is wonderful news. This is the first time that I can remember hearing of a miracle where someone was healed of a broken rib. Please ask your mother to pray for me also. I am just so tired of worrying about the health of me and my family and our finances.

Thank you so very much. I agree, with faith, all things are possible. It shocked my hubby because God had never talked to him, audibly before; it was a bit scary for him.

Isn't it a blessing when we get something that we need, but we have not even asked for? I had similar happen for a painful back when I was caring for an ill family member, and needed to be at my best physically. God is good.

Yes, He truly is good...Many times we don't realize what He does do for us on an everyday level, but when He actually performs a miracle in our lives it's just to awesome to contemplate; how much He loves us.

Its great to hear you have such faith in your God. I am happy for you all that your step-mother is back home. Although I am a non-believer, I respect those who find comfort in their faith.
