is it real possible to love more than one person

My cousin have been married now for more than twelve years and the husband recently decided to marry another wife claiming he still love her and that it doesnt make him love my cousin less and he will be fair in his dealing with two of them and they are not muslim who belief that you can marry more than one wife.My cousin is so sad about the new development and i can understand with her but how can i make her understand that the husband still love her despite the new wife

This will happen very rarely If you really love one person.If you sincerely love one person it is very difficult to love another person at the same time..
But we can see some persons where they love another persons for just fun..
