Quantity, not quality, of incoming responses leads to more $$$

*laughs* Ahem..sorry. People here like talking about religion and politics, but you will only earn more if the other users agree with you and rate you positively. So, in a sense..you can't show that you're too smart, too rich.. The whole US-Mid East thing, can't comment on it..have not read much about it for a while now. Trying to find a way to make an alternative livig y'know. There's always the option of selling out and post topics regarding life, love and how bad your life is just for the sake of a few extra quid. Everyone seems to be complaining about something or another.. ;) I shall now go post about how great life is... ;) *laughs*

Yes some days you receive a lot of responses so that you can work out what members of mylot really are looking for and concentrate on that to improve your earnings on mylot, and it all depends on whether other members have chosen your response for best response, and have also marked your response positively, then your earnings of course will improve.

And I thought the rules stated not to rate someone negatively just because you disagree with his post! Oh well...I do tend to be a little naive sometimes! As for the winning combination...who really knows what that is? I think it changes from day to day! LOL

sorry to hear that your earnings dropped. maybe you got many negative ratings for your topics. politics and religion are very sensitive issues. people easily get carried away and hurt when their position on politics and religions is being targeted or hit. dont' worry, just continue posting and try not to focus much on politics and religion. everyday events, everyday experiences get more responses and you are likely to get a positive ratings for making discussions pertaining to this. take care.

I think that if you start discussions about contraversial topics then people are more likely to rate you negatively and then you earn less because your star rating goes down. The key to earning a lot is finding discussions that have lots of responses but also give you lots of positives. Not an easy task!

I think they have to do it by quantity because if they did quality it would require a manual check of each post and that would take a hell lot of time!

Could you be more specific in explaining what happened? Do you mean, that you have been garded badly in a discussion? And I'm asking you to tell me, please, how much influence does the plus sign have on your standard response earning. Are you depending more on our replies to your discussion(s), or the posts you make to others, combined with the grading system?
