hey there, i keep getting loads of horrible pop ups everytime i log on to the internet, i have blocked them on my internet service provider but yet they still come up, ive told my isp people and they said once ive blocked them, they shouldn't pop up anymore but they still do! they make me want to go mental, lol! it's so annoying when im doing something! can anyone help me out here on what's the problem! thanks in advance!

Are you using Internet explorer? If you are changing to Firefox will help you a great deal. I had the same problem when I was using Internet Explorer. But after I started using Firefox almost an year ago the problem has become a manageable one. Even if you are using Firefox it is advisable to have a pop up or spy ware removal tool. You will find a lot of free such tools at http://www.download.com Regards

nope im not using internet explorer, i know what firefox s yes i already have this installed on my computer but it doesn't seem to help either! i shal take a look at the link anyways seeing as you 2 peeps recommended it. thanks alot for responding!

That is a good idea about firefox as it does stop a lot of pop ups and you can get it here free:

i already have firefox beanie and it doesn't help stop the pop ups infact i think it makes it worse to be honest but im not quite sure! ill check them links anyway and try and sort something out, thanks!

its seems that you almost have tried all methods to remove that popups, have you tried clearing the cookies history etc.? try that and if you are using IE the also go to tools-manage addons and try to disable anything that is "malicious" or suspicious Ü. if you need further help just PM or reply. if this still doesn't work then you might have a trojan or virus installed and the only thing that can save you is to reformat your whole computer.

why dont you use a good firewall like kerio personal firewall , its working wonders for me, its got pop up blocker also
