I am soo ANGRY at a myLotter who I ACCEPTED as a FRIEND and then he SPAMMED me!

I guess that I am lucky I have never had this happen to me. where is the wood I need to knock on it for luck . :)

It's only happened to me once. That person is still on my friends list. I just sent a note that I wasn't on myLot to earn money, just to enjoy the discussions. They understood and apologized, so they are still on my friends list. I'm sure many newbies will try that if they're only here for the money. We just need to set them straight...one way or another.

I don't get the understanding of that I don't quite get it. I will go to your discussion. then maybe I can understand it.

I´ve also been exposed to this, TWICE :-) I just wrote them a pm saying that i wsn´t interested in those things and that they would be deleated if they kept sending me this. One deleted me 'lol* and the other one stopped. =)

I haven't had this happen yet but I would be getting him out of my friend list if anyone did this to me . Have you tried emailing him and telling him that you are not intersted in all his idea's , maybe he thought it might be something you would be interested in and if you were to ask him to stop , then maybe he would . I recently had one, who up until last night was a busy bee but not with $$ deals, but then last night she hit with several money deals. I ignored them since I don't have time in the morning to really worry too much beyond clearing out my inbox.

this guy (I wanna say his name) requested to be friends and the next thing I know I get 5-6 messages a day from this guy with all these things that all sound like scams that he is in on...

That never happened to me. Instead of broadcasting his name, just report the spam to MyLot, and they'll deal with him so we won't have to.

this has not happened to me but send me a message on who if you dont mind because i would hate that to and i accept everyone as a friend i would not want that to happen, thats a shame you are such a sweetie, want me to mess him up for you LOL

report that mylot user to mylot. you can also delete that user from your friend's list. i dont like it too when i get a lot of spam messages from people.

Oh yess I have quite a few of these guys. It is really irratating after a while especialy when their discussion are inane in the first place and then they start one that is a spam.

I hate that, too. I am always careful to check a person's profile when they send me a friend request to see if they only post stuff about money-making ideas. If they do, I deny them. I want friend who have at least a few of my same interests so that we can respond to eachother's posts (that's what friends do, right?) If they only post/reply about money sites, they are not likely to want to help me out, they are only trying to build their referrals for those other sites.

Sounds like the same one I had a week or so ago, even my discussions all he did was promote his money making site. I dropped him as a friend.

I've had it happen twice, both yesterday, I just delete the ppl as my friends. I personally think this is terrible and should be against the policy, they should get kicked out of myLot for it.

Oh, this has happened to me. I've had at least two or three people add me to their friends and then not long after, they spammed me with their stupid scam sites. I don't remember what I did, but I very possibly deleted the "friends". Either that or I just ignored the messages and went about my day on myLot.

this has happened a lot to me from when i first came on here and accepted every friends invitation i had. Now im much more cautious about who i accept because it really annoys me too and the very first thing i do now is delete them blessed be

Oh, I've had it happen several times, I just ignore it. I accept just about everyone that requests and so I know I'm more apt to get these types of offers...hey, maybe someday I'll come across one that is really legit and be rich...who knows ;-) Have a good day!

It happened to me once yesterday. The person sent me an email asking me to join some group. I just ignored it. I will remove them from my friends list.

I have had this happen to me. I always check responses that a person gave, discussions that they started, and best responses that they have received beofre accepting, but some still get through. I have onlyhad this happen once and there was nothing to indicate that this person would do this. When I got the stupid email, I just replied back and told them that I did not appreciate it, and I am not interested in getting any money making deals through mylot and if he continued I would delete him as a friend. This particular guy was very understanding and apologized and I haven't gotten another one yet. If the person doesn't listen to me then I would delete them as a friend.

Know how u feel. Go ahead, broadcast it so i wont go thru that pain!
