why do u think americans really love hamburgers?

it appears americans reaaly eat alot of burgers in a day...would u know why?

I must admit I don't eat much meat any more but I used to love hamburgers, especially McDonalds and I am an Aussie so it is not just the Americans who love them, they taste so good, they really are yummy...
