Do you know BAGNET? it's a ilocano delicacy/specialty from the north. It is a deep fried pork meat or sometimes called chicharon. But the difference from a chicharon, Bagnet have meat on it while chicharon is a purely fat. Its origin was on Laoag, Ilocos Norte. Making bagnet takes a long process to make. The secret for the mouth-watering bagnet is in its crispy skin. The crispier it becomes, the harder to resist.
