This is one actress I really enjoy watching. The first thing I ever saw her in was "Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman", yes a made for TV Moive. She played a teenager in there and I really liked her performance in it. I've seen her in many other movies and those I've seen I've enjoyed. Some of my favorites are Miss Congeniatily 1 and 2, A Time To kill and Practical Magic. She just seems to go all out in her performances but yet seems to always have fun with the characters, not sure if she does or not but that's how it appears to me. Any fans out there and if so which of her roles have you liked? Any that you didn't? If so why or why not? For more information on what she has done over the years you can check it out here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000113/

I too like Sandra Bullock a lot. She is such a good actress and also a good personality. I like almost all her movies. Still some of my favourite Sandra Bullock movies are "Speed", "The Lake House", "Miss Congeniatily" etc.

I haven't seen "The Lake House" but I want to. Everything I've read about it makes it look really good.

I have only seen her in two films, Speed and Crash. She was great in both.Speed was the first time I had seen her. Without her it would have been a ordinary action film. And in Crash her scenes were some of the most rememberable scenes in one powerful film.

I loved her in Speed. She was great in that movie. If you get a chance see her in Demolition Man. She was a trip in that. Also the Miss Congeniality movies were fantastic.

She is such a good actress. She does seem very down to earth and approachable. She and Keanu Reeves seem to have some serious on screen chemistry. I don't think I have seen her in any movie that I didn't like. All those you mentioned and more. While You Were Sleeping is one of my particular favorites. I also liked The Net and Numbers. Practical Magic was so funny. Hope Floats made me cry and laugh at the same time. She always seem to play a carefree happy character. She becomes the character and makes me care about her and root for her.

I agree she does make the characters where you want her to succeed no matter what. They just seem very likeable as well. Ones I could see being friends with in real life. Practical Magic is one of my favorites with her. I loved Speed as well, that just makes me smile every time I watch it. Her character in it is great.

I agree she is very down to earth. I also loved her in Speed and Demolition Man. Again both because she seems to be someone I can relate to I guess. She's beautiful but she's not the beauty where you feel intimidated by. She seems like someone I'd be friends with I suppose.

I really like Sandra Bullock, like others have said, she seems like such a down to earth gal, somone you could just hang out with. I read an article today (I think in People)about her that her "pals" call her Sandy, she just doesn't seem to be a Sandy...I guess that's because we really don't know her...just her as an actress, and who would've thought she'd marry Jesse James, that shows she can't be too stuffy, if anyone thought she might be. Iloved her in so many movies, it's hard to pick a favorite...I like "28 Days", "Speed", "Miss Congeniality", "Hope Floats", "While you Were Sleeping". She really brings her characters to life. I'm not a big fan of sequels, they're not usually as good as the original.

You beat me to it. As I was reading through the threads the fact that she married Jesse James came to my mind. They looked so happy together in the photo I saw of them. She is the girl next door type. So beautiful and yet so down to earth. I loved her in 28 days. I was surprised as how good that movie was. I think she kept that movie from being too "heavy" with such a hardcore subject.

I also like her acting ...her best role ever to me was in Miss Congeniality ... for me I think the appeal is that she isn't a beautilful , loads of make up sissy like girl , she is natural and down to earth ...or at least thats how she comes across to me on tv ...who knows what she is really like in real life right ...lol ... she might just have me fooled and what she is on tv is totally diffferent that what she always portrays ... :D

Oh, Sandra Bullock is my favorite female movie star! My favorite movies of hers are Speed, Hope Floats, 28 Days, Miss Congeniality, A Time to Kill, and While You Were Sleeping. I own Hope Floats and Miss Congeniality. While You Were Sleeping is my absolute favorite movie she has been in. There are a couple of movies I have not seen her in. Such as that Fire on the Amazon one and Two if by Sea, which she co-stars with Denis Leary. She has never given a bad performance - ever. But there have been movies she has been in that I didn't care for. While hilarious in Demolition Man, I didn't care for the film. Also, I thought The Net was a flat movie. I know she has slowed her movie roles down with producing The George Lopez Show and getting married, but I hope to see much more of her in the future. : )

I agree with you on with "The Net". It was an ok movie. Her performance in it was fantastic but the movie itself seemed to be missing something. I haven't seen all her movies either but the ones I have for the most part I've enjoyed. She was great in "A Time To Kill". I just watched that the other night.

It tears my heart out as well. I love the movie but no I can't watch it all the time. Have you read the book? It was fantastic as well. It's so powerful. They did a great job of adapting it for the movie.

She is quite good for comedy roles. I have seen her in real life at the premiere in Sydney of Miss Congeniality 2 - she is quite younger looking in real life and I think she looks stunning.

Oh I'd love to see her in real life. I bet that was great. I admit in Miss Congeniality 2 she looked older then her other movies. I think it was the make up they had her in because near the ned of it when she went back to normal she looked a lot better.

Oh she looks great in real life. She's thin but in a "healthy" way and her skin looks so dewy soft. Her face looks very young with not a wrinkle in sight - you would swear she looks like she's in her 20's.

That's good to hear and I can believe it considering the other things I have seen her in and she's looked young. It was just in Miss Congeniality 2 that I didn't like her make up. It just seemed to harsh and heavy for her, like they were trying to hide something.

I first saw Sandra in Speed. I like action films and thought the chemistry with Keanu was brilliant. She must be a great actress because it comes across as a very lifelike film. Some of the passengers are just charicatures but she interacts with them so well. I watched Miss Congeniality with my daughter and liked her in that too. I probably would not have watched it if my daughter had not wanted to. She is a star that I think 'oh good' if she is in the film.

I love Speed. It's a great movie that I've enjoyed watching many, many times. Have you seen Demolition Man? She was very good in that one. It's with Sylvester Stallone. A good mix of action and comedy.

Well it deals with Stallone being sentenced for a crime he didn't commit as a cop, in crygentics freezing. He's woken up 30 years later into a very different society and they need his help to catch the criminal he put away 30 years before who managed to escape. The cops aren't able to "handle that kind of violence" to quote one cop. It's very good and funny as well as filled with action.

I think I must have if it is an action movie with Sylvester Stallone but I can't quite recall it and did not realise Sandra was in it.
