Do u know any good internet speed boosters?

I'm using dial-up connection. It's very slow. I've heard there are some softwares that can increase the speed of dial-up connections. Could anybody here help me tell the name and the link form where I can get the softwares? Don't forget to tell me if you are using the software or not? How did u find the software?

with dial up connection it is always be slow, no matter what kind of booster or charger you use to boost the internet speed.

If it's true what you say, then why there are so many S/W which are used to accelerate the speed.

i want to suggest to make u linux as server for incoming dial up connection will work best...as per my experience.....

Well you are right but I've never used LINUX. I don't know it. Could you suggest me anything else?

ashampoo.com has a internet speed accelerator and I have seen many people use this piece of software. there isn't too much you can do as your phone line is only allowed to move at 56k so you will only get that speed at the best which is 5.6kb. Ashampoo will try and change settings to optimize your speed and it might speed it up abit but not to broadband speeds.

Well I downloaded it but its too complicated to understand. Moreover, it's not for free.
