do you believe that rock n roll causes suicides?

We did this essay a long time ago, about how people felt at that time, if rock and roll was the cause of children's suicides. Personally I feel that IF the parents aren't there for their children, and they do not see the signs...they cannot possibly blame it on the music that the child listens to, for the reason that they killed themself. Case in point - when Kurt Cobain died, so many parents out there blamed their childs death on his death. But did they actually LISTEN to their children? Did they talk to them? No. They let their kids get so wrapped up in themselves that eventually they felt that life was not worth living ... it had absolutely nothing to do with the music or the singer killing himself (which I firmly believe Kurt did not kill himself, but thats my own opinion right?) So how do you feel about this. Do you think parents should look into themselves, instead of blaming, tv, the media and news? I mean think about it, if this was the case, then my oldest son would be dead right now because his idol died last year (Steve Irwin) ... and instead of him having sucidal thoughts, we sat down and we discussed his feelings on Steve's death. So...what are your thoughts?

I really join hands with u. Parents should look into themselves insted of blaming others. As u did they should talk with the child and help him realise the truth in its own sense.
