Are glasses a turn off?

I wore glasses when I was like 15 and as soon as I got into "boys", I had to have contacts. I still wear contacts today because I have this awful complex about glasses. For years after glasses, I wouldnt even wear sunglasses, because I had this ugly complex thing going on. Do you think that glasses make a person uglier?

I know people who almost look better in glasses. I think anyone can look good as long as they get the right frame for their face.

I've had glasses since I was 4 years old. Admittedly, there was a year or so when I just stopped wearing them in high school (I considered it "uncool" even though I had friends who also wore them) but I soon learnt my lesson after my eyes deteriorated to a state that they were almost back to how they were before I got glasses. All the good years of glasses wearing down the drain. I've been offered contacts by my optometrist a few times over the years, but personally just don't like the idea of them. As for whether they make a person uglier or not I think it all depends on the person. Some people just really suit wearing glasses, others look a little weird so to speak. I think anyone has the potential to look good wearing glasses as long as they get a style and colour of frame that actually suits their face shape and complexion.

I think it is sexy on women. You obviously have to get a pair that looks good on your face. The big ones with big lenses might make someone look dorky like Steven Q. Urkel. I've seen some women who are dressed up for work and have glasses that look very sexy. Then when they take them off and let their hair down, MMMM

I got glasses when I was 12. I went through school wearing glasses and so did most of my friends. I never thought they made a person look bad. I did change glasses a couple of times to keep up with the styles. I tried contacts later in life and thought they were a pain. I went back to glasses and they just seem second nature.

Being a lad, I dont feel glasses are turn offs! Actually it depends on person to person. There are very few people or girls on which spects or glasses do not suit. All one has to do is to chose a spect which is good and according to the latest trend. Spects actually make many people look very smart indeed. So, I dont think spects are turn offs!
