Saying the alphabet backwards

Can you do it? I was watching some of those police shows and they were having suspented drunk drivers say the alphabet backwards. I'm not drunk by any means and I still can't do it!

i think cops can differentiate between drunk driver and sober driver although both of them failed to say the alphabet backwards.

I can do it..slowly..even when I am drunk...however due to that and the fact that nost people probably have an issue with sayign the alphabet backwards sober it is a dumb test

I can if I go very slowly and think very hard about it. It's an interesting question. I have seen it on TV as well and often wondered who thought up the idea anyways.
