theism vs. atheism

there's an enduring debate again at filipinowriter.com on the validity of the opposing schools of thought. The arguments are full of wit although not as interesting because the arguments are traditional and stems from old and ancient justifications to support theism and at the other end atheism. I am a believer, so I i tried to join and comment on the discussion. Wrote that atheism is plagued with patent ambiguities. My father professes to be an atheist but I don't believe him because he fears death (for his loved ones; I don't know for himself) but in either case the fact is he fears death. I am of the opinion that atheists shouldn't fear death because they must corollarily profess among themselves that life would end up no where else but in the four corners of the grave. then came a realization that atheists are just proud and pedantic beings who can't accept among themselves that there is someone more superior to their beings. In filipinowriter, the debaters on the atheism side bank on science (wished they were also scientists) but most scientists alike are not pedantic like them. Even the great Albert Einstein was humble enough to accept his limitations, so who are they? maybe they're great enough than the greatest scientists ever lived. What ya think?
