Wouldn't it be great if everyone treated each other as they do in Mayberry? I think this show teaches a great lesson in how to treat other people, how to get a long and to forgive one another. When my grandsons are arguing and bickering, I sit down with them and watch an episode or 2. The youngest really watches the show, the oldest is more interested in why it's black and white. What shows do you think carry a good moral message?

I totally agree with you! I always wish that the TV shows were reality. I love the way they treat eachother in all the older Tv Shows. Leave it to Beaver, Happy Days (not that old, but portrayed like it is), The Brady Bunch (maybe not that much...lol). They just seem to be nicer in the "olden" days. I wasn't around back then and maybe it was not really like that, but all the TV shows show it like that instead of all the dysfunctional family life we see now on TV. It is just telling our children to be bad and act out.
