what does the book THE LITTLE PRINCE try to imply?

cuz the way im seeing it it simply says that once we grow up we start to be narrow minded like what we used to think about grown ups before

Right. We should always remain a little bit children in our souls. I think this is the idea. I like the book a lot. I cried when I read it first. I've also read it in the original and enjoyed lovely French of the book.
