I agree with you 100%. It's too bad that more people in this world don't show their parents the love and respect that they deserve. My parents are 75 and 81 years old, and I thank God for them every day. I show my love, respect, and appreciation for them every day, also. I have worked hard to accomplish what I have in my life, but my parents gave me the love and taught me what I needed to know as a child so that I could grow into the responsible adult that I am today. If not for their love, support, encouragement, discipline, and knowledge, I would never have been the person that I am.

I guess that would all depend on the behavior of your parents. The only credit I can give my parents are they brought me into this world. I respect my husband and children the most. They are with me through good times and bad. They have earned my respect throughout the years more than anyone else I know. I also respect my grandmother because she was there when my parents were not.
