"baby items" that you have found are a necessity in your home.

I'm curious.. for all of those with kids, or who have been around them. Is there anything that you have used for your children, that has become indispensible in your home? Such as baby wipes, rash cream, etc? My kids are 3 and 4 1/2, and I tell ya.. I have a new found respect for baby wipes! Or more importantly, I guess the flushable toddler wipes. LOL My husband even said we need to keep buying them. HAHA! I also really like the nail clippers for kids. I think they're so much sharper than regular nail clippers. I prefer using them to the adult ones.

Baby lotion! I love when they come out of the bath and I lotion them up and the whole house has that baby smell. And it's a great moisturizer for adults too! I gave my hubby a travel size to keep as his job in the winter. It reminds him of home :)

I agree with you on the smell of baby lotion. It's comforting, I think.

We use cloth wipes, we just run them under hot water but of course we use cloth diapers so this child is an all cloth baby lol. I also love those little nail clippers. Footy pajamas if you live in cold weather are a must. We also have to have sippy cups in this home, my son drinks a lot of water and he always leaves them in odd places, so I run out fast until I clean my house.

I agree with you on the cups!LOL My son drinks alot and I find cups all over the place. In the strangest of places like on top of the T.V half way under the couch or an armchair in his bed and even in drawers sometimes. No wonder I run out all the time! :) It is the same with his soothers, they always seem to disappear!

Lol, that is funny because I was just telling my husband a couple weeks ago that I can't imagine how we survived without baby wipes. They are indispensable and I will probably keep buying them long after the kids are out of diapers. My daughter's Kindergarten teacher even asked parents to donate some and we obliged with a huge pack of them. We use them for everything. I even have the kids wipe down the walls with them when they want to "help" me clean. They are great for cleaning up sticky hands and faces, cleaning off furniture, whatever you need to clean, really. The baby nail clippers are good, too. I have like 9 pair but can never seem to find them when I need them, lol. I usually use them too--they seem easier to handle then the regular size.

I agree on both subjects, wipes and clippers...With CJ being Autistic, he needs a lot of wipes for when he has an accident. He is doing so much better but I need them to get the dried poo poo off his behind...lol And as far as clippers; the kids are for sure sharper and do a better job than ours. He's such a good boy; sits there and lets me clip away until finished.

Yes, we use the flushable wipes too. I don't know how people survived without them! My youngest has been potty trained for almost a year and I still use them and probably always will. I also like the baby bath wash-- it's midler than soap and it's what both of my kids still use. And, I confess, I still use Dreft to wash their clothes because I love the smell!

Baby Wipes most definetly, I carry a travel pack in my purse, and in my car.... I also can not be without books, I have some small ones that I also keep in my purse, and in my car. They are great for keeping the little ones entertained. And even though mine are no longer in diapers I still like to nighttime baby lotion, I use it personally,

i find that any menthol medicated balm/rub works wonders when they're chesty, no matter how old. Also the wipes, and the baby creams - even i use them.

I guess for me, disposable diapers would be the most indispensable baby item. I cannot imagine having to wash cloth nappies every day, especially if baby has pooped. Having disposable diapers really makes life more convenient and time saving but not cost saving though :)

Baby wipes is a necessity, first aid kit too. I've got three kids ages 7, 5 and 3; bumps, cuts and scrapes will happen. And for their entertainment, I stock up on paper, pencil and crayons plus some children cds too.

I agree with you. I find wipes totally indespensible because you can use them for so many things. Wiping hands and faces in the car. Cleaning up spills from the carpet or furniture (it pretty much eliminates any stains before they set in). Also, I find I use the baby nail clippers even for myself they work so well.

Baby wipes - I can't imagine a world without them or toilet wipes. Another good on is Johnsons suddzing soap - its a bar of soap sewn into it's own flannel - can't go gooey and messy, and even Bong can use it quite well, he struggles with a wash mit. The ycan get bubbles but can't make mess - fantastic for the kids bathroom. We have 2 out at bathtime, lol.

Baby wipes, hand sanitizer, sippee cups. I dont' know what I did before hand sanitizer. I love that stuff and carry some in the diaper bag as well as my purse. And those sippee cups...I have to keep several of those since they always end up strange places and seem to disappear.
