Personally i think cold water will be beneficial since, it will boost up your nerves, and make you feel more alert! plus its much more refreshing. Cold water baths are also highly recommended for autistic children, since this will stimulate their brain nerves more hence, gradually making them alert as well. However, if its calming that you need- a warm bath will do good, this can promote good circulation as the hot water- (warm) promotes vasodilation of your blood vessels which in turn can improve your circulation.
