I just recently started collecting 1:24 scale die cast model cars and its starting to turn into obsession rather than a hobby. I currently have two, a honda and a hummer.., I would like to buy more but I haven't found the right car models I'm looking for. I hope hobby stores in the malls would stock a wider range of models to choose from

Having two cars is hardly an obsession... lol
But I know what you mean. As soon as you start collecting something... it quickly become an obsession.
You should look on eBay for them...
And I will give you a tip.
If you list in your interests "1:24 scale die cast model cars"... they will start popping up on the eBay banner of myLot everytime you open a new page. If you are looking for a specific model... add the name of it like "honda" in your interests.
"1:24 scale die cast model honda car"
That will save you from searching for them. myLot and eBay will do the searching for you.

Is it a trend to find hobbies like this? When I was young, I do collect postal stamps and key chains from different places. A grandeur feeling made me fine. But, I don't do it anymore, people changed.

Well if you only have two to me that is not an obsession. I hope that you do buy more as having a nice collection of things we really like makes us feel good. The guy that I am seeing right now collects 1:24 scale customized cars to. When he gets moved into his apartment I am excited to see his collection. I collect m&m character things.
