Right this is a bit of a silly one

In the olden days, lol, I used to spill coffee on myself at school, or at work. And then, at restaurants I used to, and still do, occassionaly, drip food on the tables, or on the floor...and then I have to clean up my mess, there, so they will not think that I am a total slob. I really hate if food gets on my clothing, so, I try to be as careful as I can. However, some food, at certain places, just seems to flop right off my plate and onto the floor or table. It can be so annoying, especially when I look down, under the table to clean my mess, and notice that other people did not clean their messes...

How funny, you sound just like my mum. Everytime we go out or even when she's indoors, she always ends up with some food down her. The funny thing is, everytime it happens she always seems shocked. If she decides to wear white, this is fatal. We bought her a bib as a joke once. I have a spare one, sounds like you could do with it, you mucky pup!!!!

I eat sandwiches with a knife and fork and not because I´m posh. Whenever I try to eat them with my hands everything sort of slides out and all I´ve got left is the bread. Sometimes I go to McDonalds (because of my daughter) and eating a fishburger turns into a real challenge. It ends up everywhere instead of in my mouth.

hahaha weemam I don't but my Daughter does and a Friend of mine does to lol. I always think it is so funny specially when Mel has just got changed or if we are in town lol and she does it. I know I am cruel to lol as I make fun of her to. But it is funny.

i am very careful about the way i eat. weh i was young i felt like i am the most untidy child while eating , so made effots to eat neatly and by and by i managed to do a pretty good job. i eat neatly without dropping or stuffing my mouth up. i also make it a point to keep my hands clean while eating...but ther are lots like u . i think it is because of being distracted..

Nice of you to share this. I do sometimes leave telltale signs also. But most of the time, I can clean up before anyone finds out. Well, I guess it just shows how much we enjoy our food to be bothered with it .. hahaha

Hehehe, I'm sitting here eating a quick ham and tomato sandwich and yep, you guessed it, I just got a piece of tomato on my t-shirt! I have to admit most of my t-shirts have stains... So I am exactly like you, lol My boyfriend and lodger make fun of me all the time and have bets as to how many bits of food i will manage to get down myself each meal time, even the cats sit under the table just waiting for me to drop something which they can eat! I always try to avoid eating out now as its so embarrassing, Maybe its something to do with getting older - I'm sure I never used to do this!

I used to be soooo bad about this and my husbad always said something. I think that the tides have turned in my favor now. He is always making a mess of himself and he just can not belive it. He says it's becuase of my witchy way. HEE HEE :)

LOL, I am a messy one too! My biggest mess is my coffee. I usally have a drip or spot of that somewhere on myself. Now, I have the help of my 2 year old daughter adding her little contribution on my clothing as well. I can blame my messes on her except for the coffee. LOL

Add another one to the list LOL I do this all the time. When we sit down at the dinner table to eat the kids are always tutting at me and saying "mum you've done it again" sometimes I make more mess of myself than they do. Eating out is a pain, it's not so bad during the day for lunch if it happens then I can usually cover it up by zipping up my jacket but if it is later in the evening and we are perhaps going for drinks after I have a terrible time trying to stay clean, sometimes I think the more you try not to drop anything the worse it makes things lol.

lol I know exactly how you feel. I'm almost exactly like that, though my sister is much worst than I am.

LOL.. I know the feeling! I don't normally have trouble with food, but with cups of coffee, I'm always the one who spills it. I must fill it too full or something, since I spill it more often then not when climbing the stairs or on my computer desk. My PC desk in a corner one, but I only have half it set up, so it is not a study as it should be.. ;) The crazy thing is I used to own a coffee shop and never had troubles there, so I'm not sure why I have troubles at home...

You are making the picture of me.....yesterday I was suffocating with my coffe ....two days before sneezing I dropped down a cup of tea.It was terrific and I really think that I'm a disaster.

I spill everything. I'm constantly buying new shirts, because of all the dribble stains that are on my shirts...LOL...I'm a mess.

My son makes fun of me all the time. I keep telling him that if I am going to put a pillow in his shirt and see how much he drips on him. He did not think I was very funny.

I really am being honest. I have never had that happen to me. In fact I have been accused of being too dainty and making others feel like pigs which I don't mean to do I just can't help it.

Oh yes this has happened to me and I feel such a dill at the time when I look down and once again I have dropped some food on my clothing and have to go to the bathroom to clean it off as it looks like I may need a bib.

Hon, you sound just like me. When we go to a restaurant my husband AND my son always manage to get me a giant stack of napkins and they place it right in front of my plate! As if that isn't bad enough, my hubby will then ask the waitress if she has a spare bib that I can use!! (the butthead!! lol) Let's just say that Spray n Wash has become one of my best friends. LOL

Ok hands up i'm a total mucky pup, infact i have just managed to tip a whole beaker of orange pop all over my coffee table and carpet, i gave up years ago with glasses for my drinks, they never last..and it also amazes me how i can sit up nice and straight in the evening merrily watching TV and munching on some chocolate and blow me down in the morning some gremlin or allen has been into my house and spread chocolate all over my pijamas !! It's not you weeman honest it's funny green men that palnt the evidence on us

I never had this problem until I had kids...now I always seem to spill something on myself during a meal. I don't know what kids have to do with it but that is how it happened with me. I am always missing my mouth.....it is embarassing =)
