The Amazing Race.. Rob and Amber in first place again.. What did you think of Sunday night's show? It didn't surprise me when Rob and Amber came in first place for the second time. I still think that they are the team to beat. Danny and Oswalt continue to surprise me too. I just didn't think that they would be doing as well as they have been. Mirna is really starting to bug me. That women is just too dramatic for me. I couldn't believe she was yelling at Charla when Charla went over to get a stepstool to help herself in the tire challenge. Then she was yelling at those poor cabbies trying to get them to let her follow them. I didn't like them passing Dave and Mary like that either (it wasn't like they were fighting for last place at that point). It doesn't surprise me that in the previews for next week they get into a fight with Ian and Terry. I'm wouldn't mind seeing Charla/Mirna or Ian/Terry get the boot next. What did you think of the episode? Who do you want to see get the boot next?

I'm well over Rob and Amber. Now don't get me wrong I think they're doing a good job but there is such a thing as too much reality tv and they're it! The fact that everyone is basing they're decisions on what they think Rob and Amber are doing is just feeding into their plan. Just as you heard Rob say that he does it just to get to the other teams. The other teams should be aware of his tactics. Maybe it's because I've seen the teams already but I'm just not enjoying this All-star show as much as previous editions. I completely agree that Charla/Mirna and Ian/Terry I'd be happy to see go ASAP. I was disappointed the hippies didn't come in again as I found them very entertaining. This week I was surprised at how many teams did the physical task of putting the tire bolts on rather than the front end loader but perhaps that's because they don't drive stick. I'm an AM junkie so I'm sure I'll continue to watch but I really hope it gets better.

I totally agree with you about Rob and Amber. I am sick of seeing them on tv. I am always amazed though at the good luck Rob and Amber seem to have when they are on the race. Remember on their last race, they met a fan of theirs in South America (or another country) who offered to be their guide and take them everywhere. On this episode alone.. they missed that connecting flight and still made it to the pit stop first. Plus, how lucky were they that Rob worked construction and already knew how to drive the backhoe. (I give Amber props for being able to learn how to manuever the thing so quickly.).

yeahh! i was definitely dissappointed the hippies did not get called back. was really quite mad. i thought they were a great team with really good spirit about travelling and meeting other cultures. i'm not so big on RAMBER. think they just get lucky too many times. hope they don't win though... they just seem really good. but they love themselves too much it's annoying.

I missed Sunday's episode. Our local station was out because of snow. So, who did get the boot? Mirna annoys the heck out of me too. I am really rooting for Dave and Mary (Kentucky). I can't believe Rob and Amber were first again. Somebodies gonna have to slow them down.

Kevin and Drew got the boot. Drew just didn't look like he was healthy enough to continue on anyway.

i think it sucks whenever rob and amber got into the first place they got a prize but when others got into first place they dont have it. why is it so? have you recognize that?

On previous seasons, they only gave prizes at predetermined pit stops. Rob and Amber just got lucky to win those legs of the race.

Rob and Amber is really the team to beat. And I was also surprised with Oswald & Danny because they are still doing good. Basing from their last Amazing Race, they are always in the middle of the pack and are not leading the race but this time they are doing good. They are one of my favorites also. Ever since the first time Charla & Mirna joined the first Amazing race, I didn't like them already. And things hasn't change this time. They're so dramatic and they always mention God when in fact they are also doing bad things to others. Just like what they did to the Kentucky team. The Kentucky tem helped them during the road block, and how did they pay back the Kentucky team? They passed by them when it's not crunched time yet. So I was really happy when Mary finally decided that they will no longer help Charla & Mirna. for me, I like charla & Mirna to be eliminated next.

Charla doesn't bother me as much as Mirna. On the first season they were on Charla was a total workhorse whereas Mirna seemed to be a bit lazy. I distinctly remember one challenge where Charla signlehandedly carried half a cow to a market while Mirna complained that her backpack was too heavy. I would totally like to see them get the boot next.

Ramber are at it again. These 2 have made a career out of joining reality shows and who can blame them? They get the exposure they want at the same time that they are earning and gaining experience. I'm not surprised that they are in the lead again. They're masters at scheming and manipulation plus i think they have Lady Luck on their side. I hope they get to the final three again just so we can see how far they would go to win this time. The three teams i would like to get the boot are Charla and Mirna (too much drama); Dave and Mary (they never learned); and Kandace and Dustin (ingrates, not nice at all).

Rob and Amber need to be there - even just for the sake of competition. People really want to beat them. It's great for the ratings. The more they win, the more tension is built and the more entertaining things get. Conflict is great for ratings. I love Charla and Mirna for that. Well, that and comic relief. They're hysterical. Jealous of the "blondies". It's a great race so far. I would miss Rob/Amber and Charla/Mirna so I hope they stick around for a while. I wouldn't mind saying goodbye to the only previous million-dollar winners of the race.

I agree that Rob and Amber are a great ratings boost for the show.
