I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Buffy musical episode. I have attended Buffy musical sing-a-longs and I have the soundtrack on my MP3 player. I often stroll to work humming about "going through the motions", or "having a theory. I think my favotire songs are "Rest in Peace", and "the parking ticket song", though picking a favorite is pretty difficult. So...Do you like the Buffy musical episode? What songs do you like best?

Do I have to pick just one? If I had to pick one, it might be "I'll Never Tell" because it always makes me laugh, also (unlike Anya) I enjoy a good retro pastiche. On the more serious side, I love that part when Tara and Giles sing together. They are both reprising their previous songs, their voices and the tune mix so well together and it's a great chance for them to showcase the stronger singers in the show. This might be my favorite Buffy episode EVER.

Should my boyfriend andI ever get married....we want to learn the Anya Xander routine and do it for our first dance.....althoguh I think I might want to wear a little more than Anya did! This episode was total genius. Joss does a perfect homage to some classic musicals.

I actually never saw the episode on TV. I just recently saw on the news something about the sing-alongs ... kinda like Rocky Horror... people go sing and act it out? I thought that was pretty cool. I may go if I can find one in my area.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I rushed and told my brother's ex about it as he is the biggest Buffy fan I've ever met. He was so thrilled. He lives in Atlanta so there are probably tons there.

The Sing-a-longs are GREAT! I've been a few times. Often you get a goodie bag of props. People sing and act it out on stage. They usually show the episode with the closed captioing on so you can read along withthe words then the songs come on. It is a must do activity for any Buffy Fan!

I love this episode. It's my favorite from the series actually and I have a copy of it. I watch/listen to it a lot. I'm torn as to which one is my favorite actually. I love "Rest In Peace" by Spike but I also love to listen to Gile's song "Standing in the way". that one is just beautiful. Of course the duet with Anya and Xander is very funny and often sticks in my head. Overall they did a great job with it and the songs were well done. I love all the main songs actually but those three are in the top of the episode.

"Rest in peace" by Spike is a good one, and i love what Buffy says just before that : Spike - "so you have come to pump me for information" Buffy - "what else would i pump you for" too funny ! and "Fire" is a very nice song too. But to be honest i love all the songs , it is the best episode ever.

I love when Spike realizes he started to sing, and he has that totally annoyed look on his face. Priceless!

I absolutely love Once More, With Feeling. I have the soundtrack, the script, and the sheet music. If someone mentions rabbits in any way, I must burst out into "Bunnies, bunnies, it must bunnieeessss!!!!" I have it taped from when it originally aired, plus the DVDs. Seriously...obsessed. lol

I absolutely went crazy when this expisode first aired on television! I taped it and then kept watching it over and over and over, I nearly wore out the tape. ^_^; Then of course I had to get the album too, plus i have the season on dvd too... My favorite songs from the episode are without a doubt "Rest in Peace", "Give Me Something to Sing About", and "Walk Through the Fire".

I also must have watched it a million times! And made all my friends watch it too. Even the ones who knew nothing about Buffy....I mean they had to be educated anyway.

I absolutely love that episode. I watched it so many times and I bought the soundtrack cd as well. XD I think, if I really have to pick, my favourite song from it is either "Under your spell" or "Walk through the fire". The first is such a beautiful and sweet ballad, and the reprise of it, when Tara realizes she had REALLY been under Willow's spell is great as well. "Walk through the fire" instead shows the strong bond between the characters; even Spike wants to save Buffy! XD

I love the musical episode. I have every episode of Buffy on DVD, and if I'm just going to pop one in and watch it, I almost always choose this episode. My absolute favorite is "Rest in Peace" but I also very much like all of the songs, especially "Wish I Could Stay". I love how they did the thing with Giles singing and then Tara singing the same words about an entirely different situation. So lovely. =) I just can't get enough. I listen to the songs on my computer a lot even when I'm not watching the episode. There were just so many people on that show with talent in singing. It amazed me.

I like 'WIsh I Could Stay, especially Giles' part. My second-favorite is 'Rest in Peace'. I also like the one where he was, like, "First. I'll kill her, then I'll save her! No, I'll save her, then I'll kill her." ANd then he looks around and, is, like, "I'b better help her out!" LOL Spike got all of the best lines in the ep.

I too am a big fan of the musical. I even bought the soundtrack. My favorite song is probably Walk Through Fire. Does anyone else notice that these songs get stuck in your head rather easily? Espescially the Anya and Xander song- I have to actually skip that one unless I want it stuck in my head for days. The musical sing a long sounds like great fun!

I love this episode and the music also! The CD is just amazing! But favourite song... now that's a difficult question. I love Going Through the Motions. The sound of it grasped me the first time i heard it. Anya's bunny song is so funny! I laugh EVERYTIME i see it :) Walk Through the Fire is also another REALLY catchy song. Probably my favorite. Something to Sing About - i used to sing that song all the time lol. One of those songs that get into your head... and then don't ge tout easily :) Spikes song rocks too! WOW I LOVE THEM ALL!

I LOVE the soundtrack, all the songs are great. I'd have to say I love Tara's song probably the best, Willow and Tara had a beautiful relationship and I think that song describes it perfectly. I also love Spike's song. Amber and James have great voices. I just went to a "Once more with Feeling" sing-along. It was so much fun being with a whole theatre of people who are as much of a buffy nut as you =)

I love every song, it is so hard to choose! However, "Going through the motions" and "I'll never tell" are the ones that get stuck in my heead all the time! And I also talked to my hubby about doing "I'll Never Tell" at our wedding! I think it would be so much fun!!
