Men, do you Show your date/girlfriend/wife that you are a true gentleman, Opening doors for her, pulling out her chair so she can sit down, not being late when you meet her, paying her lots of attention, etc? Do you think Good Manners still Matter?

I think it should matter. From expressing it, showing it and by talking. A true gentleman should always be there for the lady, from walking onstreets -he should hold womens elbow to assist her. This simple thoughts can be simple, but from this gesture, women find it gentlemanly and caring for them..

I do. And in fact, chivalry is part of the game of flirting, is it not? :P

Yes I think that they do still matter, but i also think a lot of people have just forgotten them or think they are not needed to impress the ladies now a days.. Ladies like to be equal so maybe they should be the ones to open the doors now?

My husband opened doors and pulled out chairs for me when we were dating. Once we got married, he was done, though. I guess he felt more comfortable about losing his manners. :) Now I'm lucky if he holds the door for me when I'm carrying the baby and the diaper bag and a bag of groceries!
