I was browsing You Tube videos yesterday afternoon and I saw clips from Transformers (by the way, they have an upcoming movie adaptation). Then I remembered the other cartoons I used to watch during those years so I also looked them up. It feels so good seeing them and it did reminded me of my younger years. I love transformers, denver the last dinosaur, strawberry shortcake, dinosaucers, she-ra, rainbow brite and a whole lot more! I think cartoons from the 80's are better because kids have a lot of lessons learned.

Mostly in the 80's I watched He-Man and She-ra. I know I watched some other cartoons like Jem and the Holograms but that one didn't last very long. He-Man and She-Ra were my favorites. I know they did a remake of the He-Man but I didn't get to see it :(

I was told by my daughters therapist that the cartoons in the 1980's are much more better for a child than the cartoons they have out now. Indeed the lessons and morals of early cartoons where done so that the child can understand what good and bad had to offer in the end. I just bought the Smurfs, Rainbow Brite, and Thundercats for my little one to watch. Okay, so I bought them more for me but she'll never know the difference *smiling over here!* My favorite cartoon of the 1980's; it was Smurfs.
