I know he'll be an unrestricted free agent, but it is still sad to see Marty go to Philadelphia of all places for just a second round pick. And I like Novotny but Zubrus is going to be a nice addition. Any thoughts on what we could have done instead?

There really were no other options, unless we would have gotten someone other than Zubrus. Marty unfortunately had to go due to salary cap issues. I loved marty I hated seeing him go. With the Zubrus thing we could have possibly gotten another player such as Guiren but by that time he was gone and that also would have created salary cap problems. I was personally very excited witht the outcome here, I didnt thing Darcy was going to make any important trades at all.
