"Foreign" Languagers, do you assume they might be talking about you?

Whenever I hear someone speaking another language, other than English here in the U.S. I always think that they are saying something about me. I watch their eyes and body language. I guess I figure that if they werent talking about someone close by then they would speak "Our" language. This may be all wrong, but I cant help it and I am just curious to see if anyone else feels this way. I feel like they are talking about some top secret subject that noone else can hear about and it might be me. Do you feel like they may be talking about you when you hear someone really close by talking in another language?

I agree with you. We must all be paranoid..lol. I think it is rude to speak another language in front of people. We don't write notes and pass them to each other when out shopping but others insist on speaking in their native tongue. I don't get it either.
