What experience in your life helped you grow?

My view on life is that we are here to grow and learn .... What experience have you gone through that has helped you move forward and see life a new way? I learned an important lesson when I went to Korea about how .... we aren't guanteed our next minute ... so we have to make every minute count ...... that life is precious and what we do with the NOW is important ... time is ever moving into the past and all we have is memories and we can't take anything for granted because in a blink of an eye it can be gone ..... What is one experience that has helped you see life in a new way?
