Yes of course and why not? Provoded people would use their inventions and technology in the proper manner. Einstein invented bomb poor people used it to drop it on japan. Engineers, doctors and scientists always have a good intention in giving a good servise to people but the politicians and hitlars have something different in their mind, this only worries me. Otherwise I would join your dream and assumptions. A very smaal percentage of human think of life & planet earth beautiful all others are here to suck & distroy it rather.
